Rob serves as co-chair of the firm’s heralded litigation practice and has been honored by national client- and peer-review publications as one of the most effective trial attorneys in Ohio, including earning the distinction of “Lawyer of the Year” for antitrust litigation in Columbus from The Best Lawyers in America.

Recognized as an attorney who can quickly grasp complex factual and legal issues and apply sound judgment in creating value for his clients, Rob provides aggressive representation to companies and individuals, whether they find themselves as defendants in litigation or are looking to enforce their legal rights against others.

Litigation

Over the course of his 30+ year legal career, Rob has built a reputation for litigation excellence by representing clients in state and federal courts throughout the country, defending governmental investigations and administrative litigation before state and federal administrative agencies, representing companies and individuals in federal grand jury proceedings, and representing clients in arbitration proceedings and in state and federal appellate court.

By regularly appearing in state and federal courts across Ohio, Rob has developed an exceptional familiarity with the many precedents, protocols, and decision makers throughout the courts. His experience helps to better advise Kegler Brown clients with respect to litigation matters and assists with the process of risk analysis and both strategic and practical decision-making. While there is an element of unpredictability to all litigation, Rob’s ability to guide clients is guided by his depth of experience, allowing them the best opportunity to manage this unpredictability in a way that makes economic sense.
