Kegler Brown Welcomes Two New Attorneys

Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter is proud to announce the addition of two new attorneys to the firm.

The Kegler Brown legal team continues to grow with the addition of new associates Erica Bishop and Jessica Skelly.

Erica, who originally joined the firm as a summer clerk in 2019, is now a part of the firm’s corporate group and its formidable real estate practice, where she will be will be advising buyers and sellers on the negotiation and drafting of lease agreements, land and title reviews, and guiding them through purchase and sale transactions. She also bolsters the firm’s dedicated affordable housing team, working with public and private clients throughout the process of purchasing or selling affordable multi-family properties. Erica recently graduated first in her class from Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law.

Jessica, who first joined Kegler Brown as a clerk with the firm’s 2018 summer class, joins Kegler Brown’s intellectual property group, as part of which she will assist clients with trademark and copyright use, license drafting and negotiation, and implementation of trade secret protection procedures and other safeguards for core IP assets. In addition to her role on the IP team, Jessica will also be working in the firm’s corporate, M+A and emerging business practices. She recently graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law.
