Every year, the firm awards a Diversity Scholarship to a first-year law student, based on academic performance, accomplishments, activities and potential contributions to the legal community. The $10,000 scholarship includes a paid clerkship position with the firm’s summer associate class. All first-year law students who feel that some aspect of their background or life experience will contribute to the diversity of Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter are eligible to apply. Students from all law schools are considered for the scholarship. 2020 marks the 17th year for the Kegler Brown Diversity Scholarship, and the firm awarded two full scholarships to a couple of outstanding 1Ls.

Those interested in being considered must submit all application materials before the deadline of January 13, 2020. This includes a cover letter, resume, undergraduate transcript(s), first semester transcript (when available), as well as completed application questions.
