Accounting Client Services Coordinator

Position
Summary
Performs accounting functions associated with accounts
receivable, work in process and collections.
Essential
Responsibilities
Essential job responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
Apply payments, research, resolve payment
discrepancies, and make adjustments as needed.
Process credit card payments.
Prepare weekly manual deposits.
Review open accounts for collection efforts and
make outbound collection calls.
Effectively communicate with clients by
telephone and by e-mail to verify accuracy of charges, or to correct errors in
accounts.
Coordinate collection efforts with internal team
members.
Generate and send monthly statements.
Prepare monthly reports for Finance Committee
and various reports for the CFO.
Work closely with the Billing Department
concerning client bills.
Qualifications
Understanding of general accounting principles.
Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with an
acute attention to detail.
Approach all work with a client service attitude
and sense of urgency.
Communicate effectively with internal and
external clients.
Apply methods of critical thinking and deductive
logic.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Computer skills that include knowledge of
Microsoft Office, some knowledge of collection software is desired.
Education/Training/Experience
High school diploma or GED; three
or more years of experience or training; or equivalent combination of education
and experience.
Assist our
attorneys with the representation of existing and potential estate planning
clients. This position has a great deal of client interaction so candidate must
possess strong customer service skills and be comfortable with direct client
contact.
Responsibilities
Analyze and review existing estate plan documents, financial
statements, and gift tax returns.
Prepare client balance sheets in
Excel.
Prepare self-calculating illustrations of clients’ estate planning
documents in Excel.
Prepare all estate plan documents.
Direct contact for any incoming client communications.
Participate in planning and review meetings with attorney and
client.
Maintain records and notes for client files.
Maintain and update Estate Planning department brochures and
client marketing materials.
Coordinate Trust funding document preparation, where necessary,
with real estate paralegals and attorneys.
Prepare Certificates of Trust for
privacy when funding client’s Trusts.
Communicate with client(s) financial and tax team of advisors.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements + Qualifications
