Driving Diversity: Makiah Harper + Robert Dove Named Kegler Brown’s New DEI Committee Co-Chairs
January 9, 2024Kegler Brown proudly announces the appointment of Makiah Harper and Robert Dove as co-chairs of our Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Committee, spearheading our commitment to a more inclusive and diverse firm culture.
Makiah, an integral part of our team since 2022, specializes in corporate law, M+A, and franchising matters. Her expertise serves emerging and established businesses, offering strategic counsel on entity formation, tax structuring, and adept negotiation strategies. Her journey began at Kegler Brown as part of our Summer Associate program during law school.
Robert, the chair of our Gaming + Sports Betting practice, brings extensive experience representing local and national gaming clients and charitable organizations. Since joining us in 2018, his practice spans highly regulated industries, focusing on Public Utilities, Energy + Environmental needs, liquor license advisory, gaming, and collaborations with our Government Affairs team.
