Mark chairs the firm’s Probate practice and has worked closely with fiduciaries for nearly 30 years on matters related to estate planning, trust administration and fiduciary litigation. He has been recognized by client- and peer-review publications nationally for excellence in the practice of law, including receiving honors from The Best Lawyers in America and Martindale-Hubbell, an organization from which he holds a prestigious AV rating.
Probate + Trust Administration
Mark has established his practice over the past three decades by representing fiduciaries in all aspects of probate administration (estates and trusts) and serving as a fiduciary in trust and estate matters. He also regularly represents trustees in non-probate administration (trust) matters, has extensive experience in the preparation of all necessary state and federal tax returns (estate tax, gift tax and fiduciary income tax), and represents fiduciaries before various tax authorities.
Estate Planning
Mark assists clients in the development and implementation of a wide variety of estate plans. He has experience in tax, probate avoidance, and asset protection planning strategies. Additionally, Mark advises clients in choice of entity matters, including the creation and management of LLCs and family limited partnerships.
