Tom Pannett was pleased to present to the Municipal Engineers Association of Ohio (a subsidiary of the Ohio Municipal League) during their Spring Conference on Wednesday. Tom Pannett's presentation at the Municipal Engineers Association of Ohio's Spring Conference covered a range of significant engineering failures and their consequences. He discussed notable disasters such as the Boston Molasses Disaster, Banqiao Dam Failure, Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster, Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill, Challenger Disaster, and Citicorp Center issues. The presentation emphasized the importance of engineering ethics, proper maintenance, testing, and prioritizing safety to prevent such failures.
