Kegler Brown Names Erin Herbst Chair of Recruiting Committee and Co-Chair of Associate Development Committee
Kegler Brown is pleased to announce that Erin C. Herbst will be taking on dual leadership roles as Chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee and Co-Chair of its Associate Development Committee.
As Chair of the Recruiting Committee, Erin will draw on her experience, having served on the committee for over 15 years now, as she oversees the firm’s efforts to identify and attract top law school talent. The committee focuses on strategic recruiting approaches to align with the firm’s growth strategy, including building relationships with law schools, coordinating interviews, and selecting Summer Associate classes each year.
In her role as Co-Chair of the Associate Development Committee, Erin will help guide programs designed to provide resources and mentorship to associates as they navigate both the practice of law and the business of the firm. This committee serves as a vital link between associates and firm leadership, ensuring open communication and fostering professional growth.
“Erin brings an incredible depth of experience to this role,” said Associate Development Committee Co-Chair Jeff Nein. “Her understanding of both the business and the practice of law will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our associate development program. Having someone with her leadership skills and experience ensures that our associates receive the guidance and resources they need to thrive.”
Having been with Kegler Brown since 2009, Erin is one of the firm’s most experienced transactional attorneys and plays a key role in managing strategic transactions and business operations that require compliance with public securities regulations. In addition to her transactional work, Erin also leads the firm’s engagements with non-profit organizations.
“Erin’s track record in guiding both complex transactions and new attorneys speaks for itself,” added Nein. “Her ability to combine strategic thinking with a genuine commitment to professional growth will benefit not only our associates but the entire firm. I’m excited to work alongside her in shaping the future of our talent development.”
