Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter is pleased to announce the opening of its new office in Findlay, Ohio, and the addition of attorney Abby Wilson, who will lead the firm’s new Findlay location. Wilson brings over a decade of experience advising individuals, families, fiduciaries, farmers, and business owners throughout northwestern Ohio on estate planning, trust and estate administration, long-term care and Medicaid planning, and business and agricultural succession.

Wilson joins Kegler Brown after almost eight years with a prominent Toledo-based firm, where she developed a practice focused on helping clients throughout northwestern Ohio protect what they have built and prepare for the future. She works closely with families and business owners on matters that often involve both personal and financial considerations, from creating an estate plan or navigating the administration of a loved one’s estate to planning for long-term care or transitioning a family farm or business to the next generation.

“I have always believed that good estate planning is about more than documents. It is about understanding what matters to a client and putting a plan in place that works for the people and circumstances involved,” said Wilson. “The opportunity to join Kegler Brown allows me to continue serving the clients and communities I know well while bringing the resources and depth of a full-service firm to the people I serve. I am incredibly excited about what we can offer clients in northwestern Ohio.”

Wilson earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Findlay and her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.

The new office, located at 1995 Tiffin Avenue, Suite 101, in Findlay, strengthens Kegler Brown’s presence in northwestern Ohio and gives individuals, families, businesses, and organizations throughout the region access to the firm’s full-service platform. In addition to Wilson’s estate planning and succession planning experience, clients will have access to attorneys across the firm in areas including business law, real estate, litigation, labor and employment, intellectual property, tax, and other practice areas.

With the addition of Wilson and the Findlay office, Kegler Brown offers clients the combination of an established local relationship and the depth of a full-service law firm, giving clients a trusted resource close to home while providing access to broader legal capabilities when their needs require it.
