Sale + Franchising of Ohio Music Education Studio
Our client, which operates, licenses, and offers franchises to operate music education studios, sought to sell one of its central Ohio locations and subsequently enter into a franchise agreement with its purchaser. Our attorneys helped coordinate with our client’s lender and the purchaser’s lender to comply with Small Business Administration guidelines in relation to the removal of certain liens on the assets so that the purchaser was able to purchase the assets of the location free and clear. Additionally, our team helped our client negotiate and enter into the franchise agreements with the purchaser.
