Pulling Up the Drawbridge: Regulation of In-bound and Out-bound Investments in the United States

As part of the 2025 NAPABA Convention in Denver, Co, Vinita joined a panel of speakers to explore the implications of recent regulations related to in-bound investments (including Executive Order 14105 issued by President Biden in 2023 and the America First Investment Policy issued by President Trump in March 2025) and discuss practical measures that may need to be considered in light of the rapidly evolving situation. Their discussion also examined the challenges U.S. investors face when making investments in other jurisdictions in areas which are currently considered to be sensitive, including, in particular, technology.
