Joey works with entrepreneurs, growth-stage companies, and established businesses on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. As a member of the firm's Mergers + Acquisitions and Emerging Businesses teams, he assists clients with business formation and structuring, contract matters, strategic transactions, and the legal issues that arise as organizations grow and evolve.
Mergers + Acquisitions
Joey assists businesses throughout the lifecycle of corporate transactions, helping clients navigate matters involving due diligence, transaction documentation, entity governance, and post-closing integration. He works alongside business owners, executives, investors, and senior attorneys to support acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and other strategic transactions.
Emerging Businesses
Joey enjoys working with entrepreneurs and emerging companies as they build and scale their operations. He helps clients address legal issues related to entity formation, organizational structuring, commercial agreements, governance matters, and day-to-day business operations. By developing an understanding of each client's goals, Joey works to provide practical guidance that supports sustainable growth and long-term success.
