As part of a continuing commitment to improve diversity, equity and inclusion at the firm, Kegler Brown has engaged in the Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification process.

The overall goal of the Mansfield Rule is to increase the representation of diverse lawyers in law firm leadership by broadening the pool of candidates who are considered for hiring, equity partner promotions, significant leadership roles, and key client opportunities.

The firm will undergo a rigorous 18-month collaboration with Diversity Lab that includes objective measurement, transparency, and accountability. Kegler Brown is one of only 70 firms nationally participating in the 2022-2023 Midsize Mansfield Rule cohort.

Experimental ideas are created through Hackathons and piloted in collaboration with more than 150 top law firms and legal departments across the country. Diversity Lab leverages data, behavioral science, design thinking, and technology to further develop and test new ideas and research, measure the results, and share the lessons learned.
