Kegler Brown Pursues Mansfield Rule Certification for Diversity, Equity + InclusionJune 1, 2022
As part of a continuing commitment to improve diversity, equity and inclusion at the firm, Kegler Brown has engaged in the Midsize Mansfield Rule Certification process.
The overall goal of the Mansfield Rule is to increase the representation of diverse lawyers in law firm leadership by broadening the pool of candidates who are considered for hiring, equity partner promotions, significant leadership roles, and key client opportunities.
The firm will undergo a rigorous 18-month collaboration with Diversity Lab that includes objective measurement, transparency, and accountability. Kegler Brown is one of only 70 firms nationally participating in the 2022-2023 Midsize Mansfield Rule cohort.
“Our firm’s mission has always been to create an environment that reflects the diversity of culture, thought, and background of the community in which we work and live, and we are extremely excited to be included in the 2022-2023 cohort of law firms participating in this certification process,” said Kegler Brown Managing Director Chris Weber. “The Mansfield Rule inspires us to strengthen our firm’s unwavering commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and make meaningful progress on diversifying law firm leadership.”
