Erica Kaple Graduates from OWBA & OWBF Leadership Institute
Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter is celebrating Erica Kaple, an associate in our Real Estate practice, on her graduation from the OWBA & OWBF Leadership Institute Cohort.
Erica participated in the cohort from September 2025 through March of 2026, engaging in sessions that focused on the program’s core goals: building leadership skills, expanding professional networks, and addressing the unique challenges faced by women in legal practice.
Through its expert-led panels, interactive workshops, and structured networking led by recognized leaders in their fields, cohort participants not only had the opportunity to earn Ohio CLE credits, but also to learn valuable strategies and skills. Learning topics covered effective leadership techniques, building an authentic professional identity, managing difficult conversations and overcoming challenges, and cultivating resiliency and mindfulness, among others.
“The Leadership Institute was an incredible experience,” Erica said. “Its topics directly addressed challenges our cohort faces, and every session provided practical, tangible techniques for handling them.”
She continued, “Being part of this cohort has boosted my confidence as a leader and equipped me with actionable skills and strategies I can immediately apply to my practice.”
Congratulations to Erica and the rest of the 2025-2026 Cohort for their dedication to advancing leadership excellence throughout the legal profession.
About the OWBA & OWBF Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute is a comprehensive leadership development program designed by the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation to serve three critical purposes: prepare women attorneys for leadership roles and enhance the capabilities of those already leading, create a robust professional network among cohort members, and address the unique challenges women face in legal practice.
The program’s mission is to advance women attorneys into leadership positions, promote diversity and inclusion in legal leadership, provide cohort members with a supportive professional network, and empower them to navigate the unique challenges they face in the legal profession, creating a transformative experience that elevates both emerging and established leaders.
