Abi focuses her practice on litigation, with a primary emphasis on creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters. She joined the firm in 2025 following a federal clerkship and brings a unique perspective to her legal work through her background as a registered nurse and her experience in both healthcare and judicial environments.
Creditors’ Rights + Bankruptcy
Abi concentrates her practice on representing creditors in bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation. Her experience clerking for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina provides her with a strong foundation in bankruptcy law, including the drafting of legal opinions and orders under the Bankruptcy Code. She is skilled in managing complex case calendars and coordinating legal teams, which enhances her ability to navigate multifaceted disputes on behalf of clients.
Litigation
Abi supports clients in a variety of litigation matters, leveraging her background in healthcare compliance, ethics, and federal regulation. Her prior roles include externships with MetroHealth and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, where she gained experience in drafting memoranda, managing discovery, and analyzing complex legal issues. Her attention to detail and collaborative approach make her a valuable asset in litigation strategy and execution.
