Kegler Brown has worked with a local developer in its multi-year dispute with a general contractor that involves litigation between a multitude of service providers, vendors, liens, litigation, and arbitration. Our firm worked with the developer and its staff and hired experts to position this client in the best manner to either resolve the claim or seek a reasonable settlement. The dozens of actual or potential parties in multiple counties and various venues required that we communicate continuously with the client and opposing counsel and balance the practical/monetary side of litigation with the emotional/personal side that often creates an artificial barrier to reasonable resolution.
