HalfMoon Education’s Construction Law for Public Projects Seminar

On Wednesday, August 23, 2016, Scott took part in an all-day seminar put on by HalfMoon Education and presented on numerous issues concerning government construction. He covered the importance of cost-effective and timely environmental due diligence, as well as water issues such as stream and wetlands permitting, and storm water permitting and management. He discussed strategies for a project’s impact on threatened and endangered species, including demolition and reconstruction, the redevelopment of brownfields properties and governmental incentives, and environmental risk allocation.
