Diversity Scholarship
Each year, the Columbus, Ohio-based law firm of Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter awards a Diversity Scholarship to a first-year law student who demonstrates academic excellence, personal achievement, community involvement, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
The Diversity Scholarship recipient will join Kegler Brown’s summer associate class and receive the firm’s standard summer associate compensation. In addition, the recipient will be eligible for a supplemental stipend of up to $15,000, distributed as follows:
- $5,000 upon acceptance of an offer to join the 2026 summer associate program
- $5,000 upon successful completion of the first summer + acceptance of an offer to return for a second summer
- $5,000 following the conclusion of the second summer, provided an offer for a full-time Associate position is received and accepted
All first-year law students who will help advance the diversity, equity, and inclusion mission of Kegler Brown are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be enrolled and in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated graduation date of 2028.

Diversity Reception
Kegler Brown host a diversity reception on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in downtown Columbus.
