What You Need to Know About Workers’ Comp Fraud

On September 11, 2019, Dave was joined by Jim Anderson of InfoQuest in a presentation to the Marion Area Chamber of Commerce about fraud. After reviewing the definition and giving anecdotal examples, Dave discussed rejecting questionable claims and reviewed a variety of fraud archetypes that help identify abuse. He also discussed the care required in dealing with employees with pre-existing related medical conditions, and gave tips on both investigating and fighting fraud.
