Community Involvement

Tim has always considered community involvement to be a critical part of being a well-rounded lawyer. The time he spends in the community gives him an opportunity to work directly with people in need, which also provides him with an uncommon perspective when representing individuals in medical malpractice and personal injury cases. Welcome Warehouse and Netcare have become two causes that have become particularly meaningful for Tim.

Welcome Warehouse

Since 2006, The Welcome Warehouse has been providing support services, household goods and emergency funding to underprivileged members of the Dublin community. Tim has served on the board of directors for the 501(c)(3) for several years. In this role, he has used his legal background to assist Welcome Warehouse in maintaining its charitable designation and in reviewing and implementing its governing by-laws.

Tim has become involved not only in the administrative aspects of positioning the nonprofit for success and financial viability, but also in the day-to-day activities, including fundraising, event management, and coordinating the collection and distribution of clothes and furniture in the local community.

Our firm has a long history of supporting Netcare, which is an organization dedicated to helping people in crisis with prompt, compassionate, effective and respectful care and providing comprehensive evaluations and assessments of mental health issues for the courts and community agencies. Tim has served on the board of directors for Netcare for several years and plays a key role in running the charity’s business operations. Tim is a member of Netcare’s executive committee and advises the board on hiring practices, selection of officers and in executing its fiduciary duties ethically.

Tim also relies on his knowledge of the law to counsel the organization in its key business and legal decisions and offers pro bono services to many of Netcare’s volunteers and clients.
