On July 17, Vinita spoke at an event organized by the Ohio Attorney General’s office as part of their “Building Cultural Competence” series. Vinita introduced many complex and fascinating aspects of India, including population and politics, religion and recreation, clothing and cuisine, and more. Vinita was joined in this presentation by Shantha Balaswamy of ASHA – Ray of Hope, and was able to give attendees a better understanding of one of Ohio’s fastest-growing demographics.
