Kegler Brown Selects Jen Vessells to Lead Women’s Collaborative

Kegler Brown director Jen Vessells has been selected to serve as chair of the firm’s Women’s Collaborative, a group dedicated to empowering the firm’s women attorneys through relationship-building, education, and service. The group also fosters honest discussions about the unique challenges facing women in the firm, the greater legal community, and beyond.

Jen is a transactional lawyer in the firm’s M+A and Corporate areas. She advises companies involved in the merger and acquisition process, analyzes SaaS and other service agreements for clients, and acts as outside general counsel for companies with regional and worldwide presences.

As chair, Jen will coordinate all Women’s Collaborative initiatives, which include internal networking and events, client- and alumni-focused events, and advocacy, in addition to providing professional development, mentoring, and leadership opportunities for the firm’s women attorneys.

“The Women’s Collaborative is an active part of the firm’s life. Each year, we create goals and touchpoints that evoke “sharing” – sharing knowledge, connections, a platform to brainstorm, and much more,” said Vessells. “I am proud to be part of a firm that prioritizes the support of our women attorneys in everything they do.”
