Kegler Brown Selects Diversity + Inclusion Committee Co-Chairs
June 5, 2019Kegler Brown is excited to announce that Apps Akpofure and Molly Werhan will serve as Co-Chairs of the firm’s Diversity + Inclusion Committee.
Apps joined Kegler Brown in 2015 and focuses his corporate law practice primarily in the areas of emerging business, real estate, and global business. As part of his real estate practice, Apps guides individual and corporate clients throughout the entire process of purchasing or selling affordable multifamily properties, providing counsel on all aspects of conventional, tax credit and HUD-insured financing and refinancing.
Molly has been a member of the firm’s Corporate and M+A practice since 2016 and provides counsel to business owners and entrepreneurs during every stage of the business life cycle, from entity formation to exit strategies. She advises companies on a wide range of matters, from negotiating ownership agreements and complex commercial contracts to growth strategies such as capital raising, joint ventures, acquisitions, and franchising.
Both clerked for Kegler Brown during law school as part of the firm’s Summer Associate program.
