Kegler Brown Announces the Selection of Two New Directors

Kegler Brown is proud to announce the selection of Robert Dove and Matt Zofchak as firm directors.

Robert, who had been an associate with the firm since 2018, has built a formidable practice focused on representing the interests of his diverse clients across numerous highly regulated industries. His clients typically operate under significant government oversight and scrutiny and rely on his counsel to help them navigate the often-complex regulations that require their strict compliance. He leads many of the firm’s client engagements in matters involving energy efficiency, public utilities, liquor permitting, and data security and privacy. He also serves as chair of the firm’s Gaming + Sports Betting practice, working with clients on establishing, expanding, and protecting their operations. He has been honored as an “Ohio Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and as “One to Watch” by The Best Lawyers in America for three straight years. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University and earned a J.D. from Capital University Law School in 2014.

Matt is an experienced trial attorney, assisting clients in navigating disputes related to a wide variety of issues, with a particularly strong focus in the area of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. He has earned acclaim for his trial practice from national attorney rating services, including as an “Ohio Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and as “One to Watch” by The Best Lawyers in America for the past four years. Matt had been an associate at Kegler Brown since 2021, and previously served as both a law clerk with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio and as in-house counsel for a publicly traded manufacturing company. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College and attended The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2016.
