Global Business Attorney Travels to Germany for Secondment

Katja Garvey joined Kegler Brown in 2013 after receiving her LL.M. in business law from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. As a native of Germany, Katja graduated from Juristische Fakultät (law school) University of Passau, Germany, in 2011 before she came to Columbus, Ohio.

With her international roots and focus on global business law, Katja recently traveled to Germany for a secondment with the Freiburg office of the law firm Friedrich Graf von Westphalen.

While in Germany, she will be attending several international events, including the AIJA Corporate Acquisition and Joint Ventures Seminar in Rotterdam, Netherlands and the European Corporate and Commercial Law Seminar in Munich, Germany.

"I am very excited for this opportunity with Friedrich Graf von Westphalen and am looking forward to working on interesting projects, expanding our European network and also spending some time with my family and friends all over Germany," said Katja.

Upon Katja's return in early July, she will utilize her experience in the global business and education law practice of Kegler Brown.
