Kristine provides assistance to attorneys in the Estate Planning + Business Succession practice area. 

Estate Planning

Kristine works with clients in all aspects of their estate plans, including the preparation and execution of estate and tax planning documents and providing assistance to clients after their plans are implemented. Her experience includes assisting clients in the structure and creation of basic and sophisticated estate planning strategies, including wills, marital and credit shelter trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and intentionally defective grantor trusts.

She provides clients a detailed financial review and graphic illustration of existing and proposed estate plan structures, along with federal estate tax calculations (where applicable) and generation-skipping tax rates.

Assisting with the education of advance directive documents, including living wills, health care powers of attorney, general durable powers of attorney, and donor registration forms, Kristine provides clients with guidance on their functionality and administration in Ohio and various other states.

Kristine also provides support in the administration of probate estates, from the initial meetings with the fiduciary and family members to the filing of estate tax returns and funding of any trusts. She received her Post Baccalaureate Paralegal Certificate from Columbus State Community College. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada, where she received a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating with honors.
