The Current State of Doing Business in Brazil
On Tuesday, August 22, join guest speaker Rafael Villac Vicente de Carvalho and Kegler Brown’s Global Business attorneys for a presentation and discussion on the current state of doing business in Brazil.
A partner at Brazilian
law firm Peixoto & Cury, Rafael will provide an overview of Brazil and how
its politics and economy are changing for the better. Using recent case studies
featuring an Ohio company, he’ll discuss doing business and investing in
Brazil, and will also give insight into the country’s education sector.
A panel discussion will follow with Rafael being joined by members of Kegler
Brown’s Global Business team.

Guest Speaker:
Rafael is specialized in business and corporate law with a focus on matters
related to shareholding purchase and sale transactions (M&A), asset
management, commercial contracts, corporate restructuring, foreign investment
structuring in Brazil and corporate litigation. With international experience,
he worked as an attorney at Stairs Dillenbeck Finley and Patterson Belknapp
Webb & Tyler, both located in New York City. He graduated from Universidade
Presbiteriana Mackenzie and holds an LL.M. from Fordham University.
