Kegler Brown’s annual Managing Labor and Employee Relations seminar will take place both in person and virtually on Tuesday, March 8, 2022. This year’s seminar will focus on timely information regarding labor and employee relations, and offer CLE and SHRM credit hours.

    Biden’s DOL is cracking down and ramping up enforcement efforts, and we’ve seen a sharp uptick in investigations this past year. Danielle will detail the investigation process from start to finish, including opening conferences, employee interviews, document requests, and post-investigation considerations. She will provide practical tips and strategies to implement if you find yourself the subject of an investigation.
  • 9:45 a.m. Up in Smoke? The Future of Pre-Employment Marijuana Testing | Maria Mariano Guthrie
    This difficult labor market, combined with ever-complicated and changing marijuana laws, challenges employers to find a balance. Is pre-employment marijuana testing deterring job applicants? This presentation will explore options for employers to consider while balancing the safety of its employees with the need for employees.
