2021 Managing Labor + Employee Relations Seminar

Kegler Brown’s annual Managing Labor and Employee Relations seminar will take place virtually on Tuesday, March 9, 2021. This year’s seminar will focus on timely information regarding labor and employee relations, and earn CLE and SHRM credit hours.

  • 9:00 a.m. The Next Four Years: What a Biden Administration Means for Employers | Danielle Crane
    Joe Biden took office on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, and his inauguration will bring many changes. Danielle will walk you through the implications on the labor and employment sectors and how to prepare for anticipated changes.
  • 9:30 a.m. The Pandemic’s Effect on Employment Litigation | Jane Gleaves
    Jane will discuss trends in litigation in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. She will cover how courts have had to adjust to the pandemic and how lawyers are taking litigation virtual. You’ll learn how this world has changed along with the practical business implications of these changes.

  • 10:30 a.m. COVID 19: Where are We, What’s Still to Come? | Brendan Feheley
    This presentation will provide an update on the employment law issues surrounding the global pandemic and America’s response to it. It will explore the legal obligations employers have, issues relating to contact tracing, OSHA obligations and the legal uncertainties brought on by the virus.
