Chambers USA 2017 Rankings Continue to Recognize Kegler Brown Attorneys

The annual release of new rankings by Chambers& Partners saw one of the world’s premier guides to legal resources once again honoring many Kegler, Brown, Hill + Ritter attorneys.

Both Don Gregory, a director and chair of the firm’s construction practice, and litigator Thomas W. Hill maintained their prestigious “Band 1” rankings.

Don remains one of only four construction lawyers in Ohio with this rank, while Tom is one of eight commercial litigators to receive the honor.

  • Richard Brahm was again named Senior Statesmen for Real Estate, one of three Ohio attorneys to receive this recognition.
  • Ralph Breitfeller received a “Band 2” ranking in Litigation and was also named a “Recognised Practitioner” in Healthcare.
  • Allen Handlan also received two rankings, earning a “Band 3” Ranking in both Banking + Finance and Real Estate.
  • Brendan Feheley, Mike Madigan and Vinita Mehra were listed as “Up + Coming” attorneys. All of them have been recognized previously.
  • Overall, 19 Kegler Brown attorneys were recognized with 21 rankings, along with eight practice areas.

Chambers & Partners is an independent company that awards rankings to practice areas and attorneys in Ohio, nationally and internationally. The objective process follows three steps: submissions put forward by legal practices, interviews during the course of research, and Chambers’ own database resources. Only select attorneys and practice areas are ranked in bands from 1-6, with 1 being the best.
