Cross-Border M+A

Put on by the Columbus Bar Association on May 24, 2017, Luis joined a selection of attorneys from other firms to discuss the emerging law, trade and culture of Cuba at this CLE seminar. This half-day seminar began with an overview of Cuba, putting into context the government’s structure, the history of Communism and revolution, and immigration issues and challenges. From there, it engaged the audience on the topics of business opportunities and legal impediments, legal and judicial systems, and civil rights and culture.
