David has advised companies on business matters spanning six continents, and regularly assists U.S. and foreign companies considering entering the Brazilian market.

David’s global business experience is rooted in his extensive economic and business education and international work while living in Brazil. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University and completed his MBA at the Fisher College of Business. David’s business and legal skills are enhanced by more than a decade of experience working in growth companies and the financial services industry, along with the wealth of strategic and tactical knowledge he developed during his eight years of service in the United States Army Special Operations Command.

David frequently leverages his business knowledge to assist clients with entity selection, formation and structuring, contract negotiation and drafting, regulatory compliance, and preparation for U.S. and foreign corporate filings.

David is particularly versed in efficiently navigating U.S. and Brazilian local, state and federal regulatory agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), International Trade Secretary (SECEX), the Federal Importer System (SICOMEX), the Brazilian Federal Internal Revenue Service (SRF), and the National Sanitary Vigilance Agency (ANVISA) – a division of the Brazilian ministry of health, assisting clients in achieving and maintaining related licenses, certificates and exemptions.
