Staying Authentic and Being Successful in the Legal Profession

OSBA Leadership Academy

On January 27, 2017, the Ohio State Bar Association Leadership Academy invited Vinita to speak at their first meeting of the year. After a previous presentation for the OSBA received extremely high reviews, Vinita was asked to return and give an encore to her presentation on “Staying Authentic and Being Successful in the Legal Profession.” In it, Vinita lays out a four-part path to success for new lawyers, including (1) being true to one’s heritage, (2) creating a personal brand without compromising one’s cultural authenticity, (3) earning leadership roles in community and trade groups, and (4) balancing motivation with patience.
