Kegler Brown is proud to announce the selection of firm director Jeff Porter to the policy steering committee of the national eHealth Initiative. Based in Washington, D.C., the eHealth Initiative is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to drive improvement in the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare through information and information technology.
Porter, co-chair of the firm's Health Information Technology practice, is a graduate of Capital University Law School (1996) and has been practicing law for more than 13 years. He currently serves as Columbus Civil Service Commissioner and is a former assistant city attorney for the City of Columbus (1997-2002). Jeff focuses his law practice on government affairs, regulatory, zoning, liquor and other administrative law matters. He is a resident of the city of Columbus and contributes his time to the central Ohio community by serving as a member of the Young Leadership Group for United Way of Central Ohio, as a board member of LeaderSpark Inc., and as a volunteer.
