Stephanie represents clients across a broad range of practice areas, including Litigation, Real Estate and Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy. She has been practicing law since 1999 and has been with Kegler Brown since 2003.
Creditors’ Rights & Bankruptcy
Stephanie spends most of her time representing clients in all aspects of creditors’ rights and bankruptcy matters. She leverages her talents and experience in issues including foreclosures, collections, garnishments, executions, out-of-court workouts and relief from stay concerns. Stephanie’s representative clientele comprises secured creditors, unsecured creditors committees, Chapter 11 debtors, Chapter 7 trustees and small business debtors in all chapters of bankruptcy. Stephanie is also involved in litigations relating to breaches of representations and warranties stemming from the sale of commercial mortgage-backed securities.
Real Estate
Another aspect of Stephanie’s practice is her work for firm clients in real estate litigation. She is experienced in negotiating workouts on real estate loan transactions and represents lenders in litigation matters, including foreclosures. Stephanie is also hired by title insurance companies to defend relevant policy rights of both lenders and owners.

As chair of the Women-Owned Business area, Stephanie partners with women-owned businesses throughout Central Ohio to encourage growth opportunities while addressing specific challenges those businesses face through legal services tailored to their specific business needs.
