Cohen is a member of the firm's trial practice group, where his focus includes complex litigation and antitrust litigation, including non-competition and injunction cases.  He joined Kegler Brown in 1991 following a clerkship with a United States District Court Judge in Cleveland, Ohio.

Litigation
Rob’s broad-based litigation experience includes jury trials, bench trials, temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction hearings, summary jury trials, administrative trials, arbitration, appellate practice before the Ohio Court of Appeals, the Ohio Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Ninth Circuits, representation of clients in connection with criminal grand jury proceedings, Ohio Attorney General antitrust investigations, U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Transportation Inspector General investigations, and practice before local governmental boards and agencies.

Antitrust
Rob is a past chairman of the Antitrust Section of the Ohio State Bar Association and  served as a commissioner on the Powell Planning and Zoning Commission.  He is a frequent speaker regarding topics, including antitrust and non-competition litigation, and has served as a guest lecturer on litigation and antitrust topics at Capital University Law School.  Rob has also served as an expert witness with respect to non-competition litigation issues.
