Jeff advises clients in the health care industry on matters related to health information technology, privacy, quality and regulatory compliance issues. He has thorough experience in representing clients before various state and federal regulatory bodies. He monitors state and federal legislation to best advise clients regarding today’s ever-changing health care landscape. His other areas of focus include compliance with the HIPAA and patient privacy and security issues.

He also adds value to his client relationships by monitoring legislation and advising them on recent changes that can affect their businesses. - Successfully argued City of Columbus v. New Plan Realty Trust (94 Ohio St.3d 193) in front of City Supreme Court of Ohio. Case held that dividends paid to shareholders by real estate investment trust (REIT) were not deductible as ordinary and necessary business expenses for municipal income tax purposes.
