Brian C. Polis joined Kegler Brown in 2010, bringing with him an extensive background in the physical sciences.  Polis focuses his legal practice on intellectual property matters with a concentration in technical writing related to patent preparation and prosecution. Brian’s practice spans a wide range of intellectual property areas, including support related to patent and trademark portfolio development, intellectual property risk management, validity and enforcement issues, trademark procurement, copyright and licensing matters.

Brian supports manufacturers, healthcare businesses, software developers, financial institutions, universities, and technology transfer offices.  With his background in the physical sciences, including a master’s degree in physics, Polis brings an in-depth personal experience level when collaborating with innovative technology-based companies nationwide.
