Kegler, Brown, Hill + Ritter is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Matt Elliott to the recently launched State + Local Taxation practice area.
Matt joins the Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter team with a focus on business and tax. His skills extend to business formation, structure and contract drafting, as well as all phases of state and local taxation. Matt will also focus in the areas of estate planning and mergers and acquisitions.
Matt will join directors Paul D. Ritter, Jr. and Chuck Kegler, alongside Managing Director Michael E. Zatezalo, in the State + Local Taxation area. Their experience covers a variety of issues, including real property taxation, personal property, employer withholding requirements, and sales tax.
Matt received his Juris Doctorate in 2010 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he was the Managing Editor for The Ohio State Law Journal. In 2005, he received a Master of Business Administration from The University of Akron and, in 2003, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the College of Wooster. Before joining the firm, Matt was an associate in the Columbus office of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP.
