Kegler Brown Elects Christy Prince as New Director

Kegler Brown is proud to announce the selection of attorney Christy Prince as a firm director.

Joining Kegler Brown in 2007, Christy advises clients in all aspects of litigation law and primarily focuses in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights + Bankruptcy area. Her experience comprises commercial litigation, receiverships, collection and more. She is experienced in prosecuting and defending bankruptcy litigation, pursuing guarantors and optimizing clients’ outcome in insolvency forums.

She also has experience in the liquor law and gaming law arenas and a background in governmental affairs. Christy adds value by helping clients navigate liquor permitting on a state and federal level as well as casino, lottery, and sweepstakes compliance. She also continuously monitors the current status of legislation, initiatives and pending litigation that affect client interests.

Christy has many special honors such as being selected as an “Associate to Watch” for Bankruptcy + Restructuring by Chambers USA, 2015, being selected as an “Ohio Rising Star” by Law & Politics magazine and was selected as one of five international finalists for the 2012 IWIRC Rising Star award.

Christy currently serves on numerous committees of The Salvation Army of Central Ohio, as a mentor in the Ohio Supreme Court Lawyer to Lawyer Mentoring Program, as a pro bono volunteer and as a certified tourism ambassador for Columbus.
