Kegler Brown Director Recognized for WELDing the Way®

Lori Fuhrer, a director and member of Kegler Brown’s litigation team, has been selected as a 2018 WELDing the Way® honoree.

Each year, a diverse group of 12 women in central Ohio are chosen by Women for Economic and Leadership Development (WELD) for their roles as high impact leaders within their organizations. These women apply their time, skills and resources to their communities, helping to develop other women’s leadership skills and investing in women-owned businesses.

Along with a reception to be held in November, honorees are recognized in the Women WELDing the Way® calendar, with a different honoree featured each month.

WELD President & CEO Barb Smoot says of this year’s honorees: “In countless ways, these women are indeed WELDing the Way® by reaching back and lifting up our future leaders. They inspire others by living WELD’s mission to develop and advance women’s leadership to strengthen the economic prosperity of the communities we serve.”

Along with providing leadership as a member of the firm’s executive committee, Lori has established a reputation for fierce advocacy as a trial lawyer. She represents companies in complex business and consumer disputes, and in defending individual and collective employment claims.
