Kegler Brown Selected as General Counsel to the
Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry

October 4, 2007

The law firm of Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter is proud to announce its selection as General Counsel to the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (AWCI). Kegler Brown will serve as legal counsel for the 2,000-member organization on all construction-related legal issues. The firm officially assumed responsibilities as General Counsel on August 1, 2007.

In addition to AWCI, Kegler Brown also represents a number of other nonprofit trade associations, including the American Subcontractors Association (ASA), a national trade association of approximately 5,000 members, based in Alexandria, Virginia. The firm also represents as General Counsel the Ceilings & Interior Systems Construction Association (CISCA) and the National Ground Water Association (NGWA), which comprises more than 20,000 members.

Donald W. Gregory, who chairs Kegler Brown’s Construction Law and Litigation practice areas, will serve as the principal attorney for AWCI. Gregory has been practicing law for more than 25 years and also serves as the firm’s principal attorney for ASA, CISCA and NGWA. Gregory is one of the state’s top construction law attorneys whose honors include receiving the 1999 ASA National President’s Award, being recognized as the only attorney in Central Ohio named in Business First’s “Who’s Who in Construction, Architecture and Engineering,” and holding the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbell.
