Kegler Brown Announces 2006 Summer Associates

Clerks to spend summer preparing for legal careers

Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter is pleased to announce the addition of several law school students who will spend the summer working with the firm. The 2006 summer associate class includes Natalie Beal, Zachary Bertke, Ayenew Biru, Anka Davis, Regan Greene, Ben Leffler, Christy Prince, Courtney Redman and Angelo Thalassinos.

Natalie Beal is in her second year at Vanderbilt University Law School, and is a 2007 J.D. candidate. Beal spent her undergraduate years at Miami University in Oxford where she studied English literature.

Zachary Bertke is in his first year at Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. Bertke graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in business administration.

Ayenew Biru attends The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and is a first year student. Biru also received a B.A. in political science from The Ohio State University.

Anka Davis is in her second year at the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Davis spent her undergraduate years at Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she studied civil engineering. Her experience includes project manager for the city of Cleveland, Division of Engineering & Construction.

Regan Greene attends Capital University Law School and has completed her third year of studies. Greene completed her undergraduate studies at Butler University where she majored in journalism. She also spent 6 months abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

Ben Leffler is in his first year at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and is a 2008 J.D. candidate. Leffler completed his undergraduate degree at Vassar College in New York, where he studied economics. He spent eight months at the London School of Economics as part as a study abroad program.

Christy Prince is in her second year at the University of Toledo College of Law where she is ranked first in her class. Prince attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and studied psychology and history. Prince has previous legal experience with the Indiana Senate as well as with the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Courtney Redman is a first year law student at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Redman spent his undergraduate years at Howard University in Washington, D.C. where he studied political science. In addition, he worked with the United States Department of State.

Angelo Thalassinos attends Vanderbilt University Law School where he is in his first year of studies. Thalassinos attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and received a B.A. in political science. His professional experience includes an internship with the Nashville Public Defender's Office, as well as the Chicago Police Department Office of Professional Standards.
