Experienced Regulatory Attorney Joins Kegler Brown
Spriggs to practice in firm's government affairs area

Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter is pleased to announce the addition of Élise Spriggs. Spriggs will serve as of counsel in Kegler Brown's government and regulatory affairs practice, taking an integral role in growing the area for the firm.
Spriggs brings a wealth of government affairs experience to Kegler Brown, having most recently served as the director of legislative affairs for Ohio Governor Bob Taft. In this position, Spriggs was in charge of overseeing legislative issues for the Governor.
Previously, Spriggs worked as a government affairs representative for the Ohio Home Builders Association and for the Ohio office of the American Petroleum Institute. In addition, while completing her law school studies, Spriggs was a law clerk at Kegler Brown and intern for Legislative Service Commission, working in the Ohio Senate.
Spriggs also brings local government experience to Kegler Brown. She has served as president of the London City Council and was active with the State Fire Commission, State Emergency Response Commission, and Ohio Environmental Education Council.
Spriggs earned her law degree from Capital University School of Law in 1997. She also holds a bachelor's degree in history from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio.
