Kegler Brown Announces New Associates

Firm Welcomes Recent Graduates

The law firm of Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter is proud to announce the addition of four new associates. Daniel J. Bennett, Katherine Connor Ferguson, Brendan P. Feheley and Michael J. Madigan, all recent law school graduates, mark further growth in several of Kegler Brown's practice areas.

Bennett photo

Bennett, a 2005 graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, will focus his practice on business and taxation, as well as on litigation and intellectual property. Prior to joining Kegler Brown, Bennett served as an intern focusing on mutual fund, stock and bond research for Prudential Securities, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois. He also worked with the Chicago, Illinois-based TransMarket Group, as a futures trader on the London International Financial Futures Exchange. Bennett holds an undergraduate degree in finance from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.

Ferguson will focus her practice at Kegler Brown on assisting clients with the litigation of business matters. Ferguson earned her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Board, and vice president of the Moritz College of Law Criminal Law Society. In addition, Ferguson completed one year of a post-baccalaureate, premedical program at Columbia University, in New York, New York. She holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Feheley photo

Feheley will work in the firm's labor and employee relations practice, representing management in all aspects of labor and employee relations law. Prior to joining Kegler Brown, Feheley served as a specialist in the human resources department at Chemical Abstracts Services in Columbus, Ohio. He earned his law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz School of Law. Feheley also holds a bachelor's degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.

Madigan photo

Madigan is a 2005 graduate of the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. While at Cleveland State, he served as an associate for the Cleveland State Law Review. Madigan earned an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio. His practice at Kegler Brown will focus on construction and litigation. Prior to joining Kegler Brown, Madigan was a law clerk with the Cleveland, Ohio-based firm of Mazanec, Raskin & Ryder Co., LPA. He also spent six years working as a project manager for the Cleveland-based Whiting-Turner Contracting Company from 1997-2002. Project experience includes work on high-end office buildings, parking structures, multiple tenant fit-out type projects, a data center and a daycare facility.
