Governor Taft, along with the Ohio Department of Development's International Trade Division, recognized Kegler Brown and several companies throughout the state with the 2005 Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award ("E" Award) on June 28.
According to Governor Taft, the "E" Award winners "…have increased revenue and contribute to the state's reputation as an outstanding place to do business. They are leaders in our effort to grow Ohio's economy and maintain our competitive edge in the global marketplace."

The Governor's "E" Award, established in 1985, recognizes Ohio companies that have increased sales volume through exports, have increased Ohio-based employment as a direct result of export activity, or have developed an implemented a strategy to expand their international sales. Since 1991, more than 300 companies have received the award.
