Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter is pleased to announce the addition of Stewart H. Cupps. Cupps, an associate with the firm, will assist clients with creditor's rights and bankruptcy matters.
Prior to joining Kegler Brown, Cupps practiced as a bankruptcy attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl in Cincinnati. In addition, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Grant, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Indiana, from 2000 through 2002. Cupps was also a judicial extern for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Cupps earned his law degree from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1999. While in law school, he was a quarter-finalist in the Duberstein National Bankruptcy Moot Court Competition. He also earned CALI Awards for Excellence in Creditors' Rights and in Agency/Partnership. In addition, Cupps holds an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University in psychology.
Active in several community and professional organizations, Cupps is a member of the Cincinnati, Columbus and Ohio State Bar Associations. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.
