Kegler Brown Welcomes 2004 Summer Associates

Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter is pleased to announce the addition of several law school students who will spend the summer working with the firm. The 2004 summer associate class includes Daniel Bennett, Angela Buenaventura, Katherine Connor Ferguson, Sean Culley, Eric Duffee, Brendan Feheley, Ajay Koduri, Michael Madigan, Matthew O'Brien, and Michael Spencer.

Daniel Bennett is a student at Case Western University School of Law, and a 2005 J.D. candidate. Bennett spent his undergraduate years at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, where he studied finance. This is Bennett's second year as a summer associate with Kegler Brown.

Angela Buenaventura, is the 2004 Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter Minority Merit Scholarship recipient. She is currently a student at Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago, Illinois. Buenaventura is also a graduate of Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned a degree in economics.

Katherine Connor Ferguson is a student at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and a 2005 J.D. candidate. Ferguson completed her undergraduate degree at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York, where she studied philosophy. Ferguson spent a year abroad in Scotland as part of St. Andrews University's Junior Year Abroad Program. In addition, she completed one year of the post baccalaureate work in the premedical program at Columbia University.

Sean Culley attends Capital University Law School. He completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, where he majored in political science. Culley served with the Ohio House of Representatives, where he was selected as official page for the House finance and House insurance committees.

Eric Duffee is attends The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and is a 2005 J.D. candidate. Duffee completed his undergraduate coursework at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and studied radio/television production and political science. Duffee interned at several television stations in the Iowa area, including ABC, where he covered the 2000 Iowa Caucuses.

Brendan Feheley is a student at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. Feheley earned an undergraduate degree from at Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York, where he studied industrial and labor relations.

Ajay Koduri is a student at Vanderbilt University Law School, in Nashville, Tennessee, and a 2005 J.D. candidate. Koduri completed his undergraduate studies at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, and received a B.S. in philosophy and psychology. In addition to being a second year summer associate with Kegler Brown, Koduri also served as a staff assistant to the chief of staff for the vice president at the White House in Washington, D.C.

Michael Madigan attends Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, and is a 2005 J.D. candidate. Madigan received a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Dayton. He has previous experience in the construction and engineering industries.

Matthew O'Brien is a student at Vanderbilt University Law School, in Nashville, Tennessee, and is a 2006 J.D. candidate. O'Brien attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies and received a B.S.B.A. in business finance. O'Brien has previous financial experience, having served as a financial advisor and mortgage analyst/broker.

Michael Spencer currently attends The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, and is a 2006 J.D. candidate. Spencer earned both a master's degree in international affairs: communication and development studies, as well as a bachelor's degree in English and African American cultural studies from Ohio University. Spencer's professional experience includes an internship with the United States Customs Service.
