Charles
R. Dyas, Jr. has joined the law firm Kegler, Brown, Hill & Ritter
as Of Counsel. Dyas will focus his practice on assisting clients
with commercial litigation and administrative law matters. Additionally,
a portion of his practice will concentrate on environmental and
natural resources law, including commercial and real estate transaction
issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Dyas was an attorney with Dinsmore & Shohl,
LLP in Cincinnati. He also served as a former assistant attorney
general in the environmental enforcement section of the Ohio
attorney general's office from 1986-1990.
Dyas graduated from Capital University School of Law in 1986.
He also holds a bachelor's degree from Ohio University,
Athens, where he studied political science.
Active in several community and professional organizations,
Dyas is a member of the Ohio Manufacturers' Association,
the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, and the Columbus Bar Association.
In addition, he served as chair of the Ohio State Bar Association's
environmental law committee from 2001-2003. In 2003, he was also
appointed to be a Fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation.
