2016 Election Guide

Kegler Brown Government Affairs Update

While political candidates are filling the airwaves with their pitches on why to select them for office, the Kegler Brown Hill + Ritter Government Affairs Team pulled together this 2016 Election Guide to help you wade through the clutter.

Early voting began last week in Ohio and November 8 is quickly approaching. All elections are important. This election is no different. On or before November 8, you will be asked to select who will become the President of the United States (and Vice President), who will serve as 1 of the 2 U.S. Senate seats for the next 6 years, who will serve as your U.S. House of Representatives member for the next 2 years, 3 individuals who will serve on our Ohio Supreme Court for the next 4 years, as well as who will serve as your Ohio Senate member (in 17 of the seats open this election) for the next 4 years, all 99 Ohio House of Representatives, and a host of other important local issues throughout the state.

This Election Guide contains:

  1. A complete list of candidates running against each other for President, Congress, Courts as well as the Ohio House and Senate,
  2. Links to the candidates’ websites so you can see where they stand on issues, and
  3. Endorsement/Recognition of the candidates by several business and professional trade associations.

Please feel free to share this information with your management team and employees, as well as your friends and family.
